Need a speaker, trainer or workshop on disability?
Her Power's Founding Director Theresa Squires is available to provide trainings to organizations, conferences and groups on disability.
Theresa Squires has been actively involved in the disability justice community for over a decade. She was featured as a, "People We Love" in YES! Magazine's Summer 2013 issue for the teen girls' program she developed, "Her Power! Her Pride! Her Voice!". This program uses interactive art activities to challenge media stereotypes/lies and shatter myths about what it means to be a teen girl with a disability.
She is a dynamic speaker who uses personal experience to actively engage audiences in conversations around disability identity and non-disabled privilege. Theresa is available to present to your organization on disability inclusion and disability justice. While her trainings are available to all organizations she is especially passionate about working with organizations to end domestic violence and sexual assault, and organizations that serve young women.
